It was edited by J Danner-McDonald of DMC Media with original music by Eva Cappilletti Chao. Among the Living will tell the story of the Peruvian Forensic Anthropology Team (EPAF) who are attempting to exhume and identify the remains of the nearly 14,000 people who were forcibly "disappeared" during the country's civil war in the 1980s and 1990s. Production on the film began in July 2009 with ten days of shooting in Lima and the Sierra Highlands. Production will continue in 2010 as EPAF continues its work on several unresolved cases.
